Fluent Big Inventory Services

Fluent Big Inventory is made up of multiple services. The Fluent Big Inventory services include various features, all managing different parts of the inventory availability lifecycle.

Intelligent Inventory Processing

The Intelligent Inventory Processing service ingests inventory updates from all of your backend systems to unify your view of inventory availability. Intelligent Inventory Processing allows you to define rules and priorities to ensure that your inventory events are processed as soon as needed to ensure you have the most accurate and up-to-date view of inventory availability, enabling you to give accurate inventory promises to your customers.

Batch Pre-Processing

Batch Pre-Processing analyses inventory updates to understand which updates must be processed and which updates Fluent Big Inventory has already received. This allows the integration of Inventory Updates from systems that can only provide full, unfiltered inventory exports and for those integrations to occur as often as you need.

Enterprise Inventory Availability

Enterprise Inventory Availability enables you to create orchestrated & customised views of inventory availability data ready for customer-facing channels. Enterprise Inventory Availability lets you segment inventory views by channel, implement unique safety stock and buffers per channel, track availability in real time and much more.

Global Inventory

Global Inventory is the orchestration engine that allows you to completely configure how you want your inventory availability to be managed. Global Inventory will process the events and rules triggered by various inventory updates to ensure your inventory availability is created exactly as designed to suit your business. Global Inventory creates views of inventory availability that are unique for each channel and ready to be consumed by those channels.

Metrics API

The Metrics API provides data insight into the operation of Big Inventory. This insight allows users to understand the operational processing within their Fluent account. To understand if errors occur, where those errors occur within the processing and how often they occur. The data provided by the Metrics API enables an “eyes on glass” support style, watching service performance to understand when errors occur.

Inventory Web App

The Inventory Web App is a standalone web app as part of Fluent Big Inventory. The Inventory Web App provides users the ability to view, manage, and control their inventory availability. They can manage all inventory-related entities such as Inventory Positions, Virtual Positions, Controls, Products, and Locations. Additionally, the Inventory Web App also provides dashboards to monitor the ingestion and exporting of inventory data, allowing users to identify when inventory anomalies have occurred.

Available to Promise Data

Available to Promise Data enables you to export and integrate inventory availability data from Fluent Big Inventory into your customer-facing channels. By integrating accurate Available to Promise Data with all your customer-facing channels, you can ensure that all customers see accurate fulfillment promises and minimize the frustration from inaccurate promises.

Inventory Feeds enables you to programmatically export views of Inventory Availability for consumption by customer-facing channels.
