User Interface Improvements

Improved User Experience for Returns creation through the Admin Console:

  • An improvement has been made to the current Returns UI available for the Admin console around the display of order item attributes.
  • The current Return form presents each order item with all the product attributes. This means that when there are too many attributes on an order item, it does not render well to provide a usable experience.
  • To resolve this issue, we have made a small UI change to visually control the visibility of all attributes, and improve the user experience for creating Returns.
  • By default, the first 10 attributes will be displayed, and the rest will be viewable by clicking the "More" button.

Added support for UTC offset for Dynamic Dashboard tiles in Admin Console

  • The Dashboard tile component can now be configured to use UTC offset rather than the default local time of the user's system.
  • For more information, see the Add Queries to the Dashboard section.

The Fluent Admin Console is a web browser-based portal, for retail business users, that provides the interface to manage orders, product availability, inventory and order fulfillment. The Admin Console is used by businesses and administrators to access a large range of functionality provided by the following Fluent Commerce apps:

  • Distributed Order Management
  • Global Inventory
  • Product Availability

Each app provides out-of-the-box capabilities that are accessed by the Fluent Admin Console.

By default, the Admin Console displays content in English. However, v4.44 release onwards, the Fluent platform provides support for multiple languages. For more information on languages and localization and configuring other languages, click here. The console should be used on tablets and computers that have an active internet connection and a supported web browser.

Handy reference guide on how to display date time value on the UI

For Date format and conversion in UI, two functions can be used:

  • `formateDate`
  • `dateStringFormatter`
    (if true, then it will leave it as UTC timezone, else, it will convert to the user's browser timezone)
