Description

The Inventory Module now features a reference implementation for sending up to 1,000 Inventory Updates directly into the workflow via an event. This new feature allows users to make real-time updates directly to their inventory rather than using the Job API. 

It is best practice to use this feature only when the Inventory update is small, or you need to send out-of-sync updates.

The Inventory Reference Module is the foundation for inventory related implementations. It provides reference Workflows for inventory ingestion and processing. Extensible by design, use this Module as a base to build a solution to the needs of your customers.

  • Virtual Catalogue workflow
  • Control Group workflow
  • Product Catalogue workflow

Direct Inventory Updates are one of the two reference ways to send last-on-hand inventory updates into your inventory workflows. Direct Inventory Updates are best used when you have a small volume of inventory updates (maximum of 1000 updates).
