An Extension is a type of Module that is designed to provide a complete feature or features that solve domain problems. Where a Reference Module provides Domain Artifacts that can be used to speed up building solutions, an Extension should contain an entire solution within itself that only requires basic configuration before use. Structurally, Extensions are identical to Modules as are Reference Modules.
