Overview
The Availability Module facilitates the presentation of Available-to-Sell (ATS) and Available-to-Promise (ATP) data on the Product Detail Page (PDP), Product Listing Page (PLP), and Checkout pages within an e-commerce platform, for instance.
Key points
- Available to Sell (ATS) is the quantity of inventory that is immediately available in stock and can be sold to customers. It is usually calculated based on the stock on hand and safety stock buffers.
- Available-to-Promise (ATP) is the quantity of a product that a company can promise to deliver to customers by a specific date based on the current inventory levels, incoming inventory, production schedules, and outstanding orders.
The micro-lesson below covers two important availability concepts: Available-to-Sell (ATS) and Available-to-Promise (ATP), including how Fluent Order Management can implement them.
