Definition

Trigger (noun, with regard to a Ruleset)A Trigger is the definition of criteria for matching an Event to a Ruleset. The Workflow Engine compares Triggers against information from the Event and the associated Entity at runtime to identify which Rulesets to execute as part of the Execution Context.Trigger (verb)To begin the execution of a workflow by sending an orchestration event.
