Definition

A “Fat Rule” is an antipattern in Rule development. It means that instead of the rule being a small building block for logic, it is trying to do too much by itself. This means it is not as reusable, flexible, or maintainable. It typically contains multiple logic branches and might do different things based on the inputs.
