Definition

Distinguishes between different variants of the same entity. The type field of a Root Entity determines which workflow is used to process it (e.g., Orders of type Home Delivery (HD) and Click&Collect (CC) follow different workflows).Additionally, when triggering workflow, the entity type is matched against the ruleset subtype.
