A multi-tenant environment refers to a software architecture where a single instance of a software application serves multiple customers, known as tenants. Each tenant operates in a virtually isolated environment, yet they all share the same application and infrastructure. This model is common in cloud computing and software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications.
