Overview

This section describes the different Account types, prerequisites, and processes for requesting an Account.

A Fluent account is the representation of a single-tenant of the Fluent platform. An account is isolated and secure and provides access to the Fluent Order Management Platform on either a sandbox or production environment. For information about the Fluent environments, see environments. Access to an account is via the account-specific URL, in the format 

`https://<ACCOUNTID>.sandbox.console.fluentretail.com`
. This is a unique Console URL in a sandbox environment.

Account Types

Fluent Commerce provides the following types of accounts:

  • Client Account
  • Partner Account
  • Training Account

Client Account

This is provided to clients as part of their subscription agreement. A client receives one sandbox account and one production account. Clients can purchase additional accounts as part of their commercial agreement with Fluent Commerce.

A Fluent implementation partner is responsible for setting up and configuring a client account as part of the initial implementation.

Dev sandbox account will be provisioned at the start of the project.

UAT/SIT sandbox account may be provisioned at least 4 weeks before the scheduled UAT / SIT.

Production account may be provisioned 4 to 6 weeks before the scheduled Go-Live.

Limits for client accounts are negotiated as part of the license agreement.

Partner Account

A partner account is a sandbox account provided to Fluent Partners who have completed the Fluent OMS Training. This is primarily for the internal use of the Partner for continued learning, demos, self-service labs, and testing custom plugins.

During the delivery of a client project, the partner has access to the client accounts.

Partner accounts have the following policies and prerequisites:

  • A single partner account will be provided to official implementation partners in the sandbox environment.
  • A partner must have completed the Fluent OMS Training (with at least 1 Technical Resource), before qualifying for a Partner Account.
  • A Partner account has the following limits:

Training Account

Training accounts are temporary accounts that are assigned and used as part of the Fluent OMS Training Program. The training accounts are only issued to participants on the Technical track, which includes the setup, configuration, extensions, and customisation of the Fluent Order Management platform.

Training accounts remain active for 30 days before being recycled and made available to subsequent training sessions.

You must be registered and have attended an official Fluent OMS Training Program to gain access to one of the accounts.

Account Request

Clients

Clients should ask their implementation partner to request a commercially agreed account to be provisioned.

Partners

Partners should request their account after completing the Fluent OMS Training Program as part of their Onboarding. An account request link will be sent to you. If you have not received this link, contact us.
